Snowball Budget is a calm monthly money planner: income minus fixed costs, loan payments, and savings leaves what's yours to spend. Log expenses in a couple of taps, watch your savings jar fill, and aim every extra dollar at your debt; snowball or avalanche.
iOS · iPhone · no accounts, no servers — your money data never leaves your device
Five tabs, one loop: plan the month, log what you spend, and watch one number; Left to Spend.
Start in the Planner: income minus fixed costs, loan payments, and your savings goal leaves what's yours to allocate. Split that across category budgets and the month is set.
Pick the style the app coaches you toward: zero-based (every dollar has a job), 50/30/20 (needs / wants / saving), kakeibo (save first, reflect monthly), strict envelopes (unspent money rolls over), or flexible tracking with no rules. Switching is always safe; only the guidance changes, never your data.
Add an expense, give it a category, done. The more you log, the smarter every chart gets; spending by category, recent activity, and how the month is tracking.
Enter your loans, pick snowball (smallest balance first; quick wins) or avalanche (highest rate first; least interest), and commit an extra monthly amount. The payoff plan compares both strategies side by side, shows the interest each saves, which loan your extra dollars target right now, and the month you'll be debt-free.
Set a monthly savings goal and log contributions as you go. Your jar fills up right on the Dashboard; a small win you can see every day.
The Dashboard shows Left to Spend; your spending budget minus what you've logged. Fixed costs don't count against it; your plan already set them aside. When it's green, you're fine. That's the whole day-to-day.
When you're curious about the big picture, the Annual tab has your whole year; income, spending, and savings, month by month.
